Cardiovascular health in the elderly

Every day we are walking the road to old age almost without realizing it and once we have reached this stage, our organs, muscles and bones are no longer what they were years ago.

In this stage, great changes occur in the body and in the functioning of our heart, so that it is also the most frequent time of life in which diseases such as cardiovascular diseases can appear. Currently, people between the ages of 65 and 75 are the most at risk of cardiovascular disease. Therefore, it is important to take cardiovascular health seriously from youth, but above all, from the elderly.

The problem is that in advanced ages it is common for high blood pressure or cholesterol to appear; diseases that if not controlled can lead to a heart attack. As prevention methods, it is advisable to eat a healthy diet, practice physical activity regularly and not consume tobacco or alcohol.

At a time when the population of our country is increasingly aging, the risks of suffering from cardiovascular diseases are increasing, and consequently, the existence of cardioprotected spaces with defibrillators.
