WHO IS IT AIMED AT?

OBJECTIVES
- Make people in the organization aware of the need to know the most common first aid procedures.
- Identify serious and minor situations through an adequate assessment.
- Acquire the minimum skills necessary to be able to provide initial health support in any unexpected situation in the field of health.
- Know basic aspects of the use of semiautomatic defibrillators.

BLOCK 1: IMMINENT RISK SITUATIONS
- What is first aid?
- Basic life support for children and adults and AED use
- Safety Lateral Position (PLS)
- Ictus
- Obstruction of the airway by foreign bodies
- Hemorrhages

BLOCK 2: MOST FREQUENT SITUATIONS IN PPAA
- General guidelines for action in the event of an accident.
- Epistaxis (nosebleeds).
- Traumatisms (face, head, spine, thorax).
- Soft tissue bruises.
- Animal stings and bites.
- Injuries due to excess heat.
- Injuries due to excessive cold.
- Psychological first aid.
- The first aid kit
METHODOLOGY
The methodological strategies that will be used will be dynamic and participatory, where users arouse interest for what is being worked on and in this way, they can manage to resolve the doubts and concerns that arise in relation to the topics worked on during the training action.
Cases appropriate to the activity environment of the users and/or context in which they should act if necessary will be raised. Solving cases and responding to the needs they have at all times.
The technical and didactic material that will be used to develop the training action will be adequate to achieve the proposed learning and seek a contextualization as real as possible to which they will have to face in a real situation.
DURATION
8 hours to be taught in a single session or in two 4-hour sessions.
